So last night, I fell asleep at around 11:30 and usually, I don't really remember my dreams. But last night, I had this amazing dream. It was so great.
I was at school, in English class, waiting for Mrs Rhodes to give me back my mark from last term, and then she did.
I got an A.
Ok that dream was not as exciting for you to hear than for me to experience, but it really got me thinking about dreams in general.
I have this lovely friend named Eilish. Eilish and I are very close, and we often talk about things like this, dreams, supernatural things; ghosts, spirits and just everything.
Last year, we were in Latin together and we started talking about lucid dreaming. If you've never heard about it, this is how it works:
- You lay in bed, completely straight with your arms by your side.
- You close your eyes but don't fall asleep, as in rest your body and not your mind
- After about 10 minutes, you would start to want to fall asleep of course, but fight this urge
- You should also fight the urge of moving, like scratching, twitching
- Slowly, your body will fall asleep without your mind.
- By then, your body is deeply asleep and you wouldn't be able to move, even if you wanted to
- Don't panic, some people do and they find it hard to breather, but that's all in your head.
- When you open your eyes, you would start to hallucinate, seeing things that aren't there
- Most of the time, it's scary things, because that would be your immediate thought
- But once you get the hang of it, you can control what you see and turn the hallucinations into something beautiful.
Since Latin was for 50 minutes, we still had about another 20 minutes to kill that day, so we started talking about Ouija boards! I'm just gonna assume most of you know what they are, and if you don't, I'm not gonna tell you because it just freaks me out!
So this morning, I was just wondering about the truth behind all this rumour, because every myth is based on a fact right?
Thanhy Xoxo
