Straight after Christmas Mass, Kim and Yen had to go home and get ready to leave to the airport for their trip to Vietnam instead of going to our Aunty's house.
A family tradition is that after Christmass Eve mass, we all gather at Bac Hong and Bac Dung's house (bac being the word for older aunty and uncle) to have a dinner. Usually, the whole family is here. But this year, we had 7 children and 8 Aunts and uncles. That makes 14 people. And 6 were from my family! When I say children, I mean people in my generation. It was the quietest Christmas ever. No Kim. No Yen. No Jenny. No Michelle. Even the boys were gone D:
But we had some fun with our older cousin Niny :) we made fake snow and poured it all over Lan's car (the engaged cousin).
On Christmas day, Niny, her boyfriend Yang, me, Diem and Huong went to the beach together!
