VIETNAM BITCHES

Hola amigas or should I say chao ban? AHHAHAHA too cultured for you all. It's my second day here and I actually like it heaps. I'm just gonna do a day to day diary thing.

Me and Diem went to VN with my aunty and 6 little cousins. It was horrible. To make sure we had all the kids, we actually had to count. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 wait where's the other one? Oh there he is. It was an 8 hour flight to Singapore from Brisbane, a 2 hour stop over at Singapore then a 2 hour flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). When we arrived, we found our auntie then we had a 4 hour car ride to our grandparents' house. Lovely right? No. To make it worse, there were no seatbelts. Like none. And it was the scariest car ride I have ever endured. Like we would be riding along and there would be a motorbike right next to us. like less then 20cm. As Diem said, it was "clutch onto your seat terrifying." Or a car ahead of us would be too slow, oh well, let's just go into the other lane where cars were approaching us head on. Oh, 20 metres away? That's just fine.

We finally arrived home and found my daddy or should I say ba? AHAHAHAH.

The next morning, I woke up at 4. Apparently, everyone wakes up at 3am. It was amazing listening to my dad and grandparents speak louder than normal asian loudness which is louder than your normal loudness.

We went to the markets and I should only be grateful I am still alive and did not get run over a motorbike. Me and Diem recorded some videos but I'm not gonna upload any until I get back. I'm not kidding when I say the markets are right behind our house. There's actually a stall on our driveway. The rest of the day went like this: All 8 of us children would go into one room and play. Occassionally it would be " Let's jump on Diem and Thanhy" games or " Let's watch them writhe in pain as we hurt them" Oh we have our times. At night, we went to get dessert and yeah, after we went to a shoe shop and it was cool. I have Chanel thongs. I'm sure they're not fake. AHAHAH

And this morning me and Diem and my dad went back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit my Aunty form the other side and to pick up my mum and other sisters from the airport tonight. We're staying here for a few days :)
